Grass

Elina, a 60 year old psychologist, flees Kharkiv for Istanbul with her daughter after bombardments destroy the life she built. Carrying the weight of a lost home, fractured memories, and an unfinished life, she struggles to begin again. Olesya, a 38 year old engineer, leaves Russia after war creates deep political and personal fractures within her family. In Türkiye, she searches for belonging, community, and a new language. Grass follows these two women as they rebuild their lives in Istanbul, revealing solidarity in the shadow of loss and friendship as a fragile path toward peace.
