Turkish, Arabic with Turkish and English subtitles
In the indigenous heartland of southeast Turkey, Meryem and her family begin the annual olive harvest. For generations, this sacred practice has sustained the village women’s livelihoods, but this year the harvest unfolds under a shadow of fear. As the government seizes their centuries-old land, Meryem picks up a camera to document the slow unraveling of her community and their fight to protect the place they call home.
