Located in the heart of Vancouver, Burcu’s Angels has served as a sanctuary and gathering place for over thirty years. Run by Turkish-born Burcu Özdemir, this extraordinary vintage store offered not only clothing, but also a deep sense of belonging and solidarity. As rising rents force the shop toward closure, the film weaves together Burcu’s poetic reflections, archival footage, and community memories to tell a story of resilience, collective care, and the lasting impact of one woman’s vision.
