"CEZAEVİNDE YAŞAM" / LIFE IN PRISON |
Hapishaneye girmeniz gerekseydi, en iyi tercih hangi ülke olurdu? Ya da en kötüsü? Metropolis TV, cezaevleri ile ilgili hazırladığı özel bir program için, muhabirleri aracılğıyla dünyanın pek çok ülkesindeki hapishanelere kamera sokmaya çalıştı. Kendi ülkelerindeki cezaevlerinde çekim izni isteyen 50 muhabirden yalnızca 12’si başarılı oldu. Bunların içinden, etkinlikte göstermek üzere 8 adet kısa film seçtik.
If you had to spend time in jail, in which country could you best be? And where definately not? Metropolis TV gets jailed all over the world and compares the differences between prisons worldwide. All fifty correspondents were asked to request permission to film in a local prison, only twelve of them succeeded. We selected 8 shorts out of this compilation.

It took Metropolis correspondent Paola in Bolivia over a month to get permission to shoot inside the prison. When she finally got her permission, it showed that the real challenge was inside the prison.

Bütün bu örnekler içinde güvenliğin en sıkı olduğu Volterra Cezaevi, garip bir şekilde en iyi yerlerden biri çıktı. Bu kötü şöhretli cezaevinde tanık oldukları şeyler, İtalyan muhabirleri bir hayli şaşırttı.
Of all the prisons Metropolis correspondents visited, the maximum security prison of Volterra seems like one of the best places to be. Italian correspondents were rather surprised to see what really goes on inside this infamous prison’s walls.

In Poland the Slavek-foundation gives prisoners the chance to leave prison for ten days: they walk a pilgrimage of 300 kilometers and take on the care of a handicapped person during this long walk.
