NICK FRASER

After a lengthy career in journalism, Nick Fraser has taken on the editorship of BBC’s renowned documentary slot Storyville and is now among the most famous personalities of the European documentary circle.

As the producer and the commissioning editor of the documentary slot on BBC2 and BBC4 with its broadcasting average of 30 to 40 documentaries a year, he put his signature on many important documentary films. Not only did these films attract much global attention in the world of TV but they also received many awards in international festivals.

Apart from being renowned for his work as a journalist and a documentary film maker, Fraser is also known as an author in Europe and UK. His books include “The Voice of Modern Hatred: Encounters with Europe's New Right”, “Continental Drifts – Travels in the New Europe”, “The Importance of Being Eton”.

He is also the producer of a colossal project “Why Democracy?” realized in collaboration with 30 television channels.
